If you live in the Poverty Bay Shellfish Protection District (see map), you can join the Poogooder Zeropoo Stewards program (aka Poop Ambassadors) and request a free yard sign with dog poo bag roll dispenser and bags, goodies, and other support to help you and others reduce wayward dog poo (while supplies last). Participation is voluntary, but stewards agree to maintain their bag dispenser (if stewarding) and respond to periodic research surveys through March 2025, or contact us to opt-out.
